An artistic concert at the Fujairah Tennis Club, performed by the American band Tank and the Bangas.

The Fujairah fine arts  Academy , in cooperation with the US diplomatic mission to the country, and the Fujairah Tennis Club, organized an artistic ceremony at the Fujairah Tennis Club, performed by the American singing group “Tank and the Bangas.”

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, His Excellency Megan Gregons, Consul General of the United States of America in the Emirates, Salah Al-Hamad, General Manager of the Fujairah Tennis Club, Yasmine Habrawi, Head of the Public and Cultural Affairs Department at the American Consulate, a number of officials in the Emirate of Fujairah, and a large audience.

His Excellency Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti emphasized the role of the arts in creating a positive social atmosphere, where brotherhood and harmony prevail between communities, pointing to the importance of organizing artistic programs and events, which constitute an opportunity to establish strong relationships, strengthening the bonds of love and trust between artistic and cultural institutions and members of society.

He said that the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts seeks to enhance artistic and cultural cooperation and exchange ideas and experiences with its strategic partners in the field of arts, as the academy works under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees, to be a center for disseminating the arts, not in the past. Not only the Emirate of Fujairah and the UAE, but also to extend its artistic imprint to the Arab and international arenas.

The American singing group "Tank and the Bangas" performed a collection of its most famous songs, which included rock, soul and hip-hop, as the audience interacted with the songs, clapping and singing.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Yasmine Habrawi, Head of the Public and Cultural Affairs Department at the American Consulate, expressed her happiness in cooperating with the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts in the artistic and cultural field.
