Conclusion of the activities of the Our Summer Art program at the Fujairah fine arts  Academy 
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts
The Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts held the closing ceremony of the summer program “Our Summer is Art,” which was organized by the academy, with wide participation from all different age groups in the Emirate of Fujairah, with the aim of developing the artistic skills of all those affiliated with the program.
The activities of the summer program, which was held at the academy’s headquarters, included organizing a number of workshops in Arabic calligraphy, photography, and teaching the basics of drawing. Workshops were also allocated to learn sculpture and pottery formation, in addition to organizing workshops in acting and theatre.
At the closing ceremony, the Academy’s members presented a number of musical performances on the oud, qanun, violin and piano. The Theater Department also presented a theatrical work entitled
“Medley Theater” reviewed variations on some maqams and poetic poems through the representation of the maqam al-halwaniyah by Badi al-Zaman al-Hamdhani, the poem al-Kalima by Abd al-Rahman al-Sharqawi, and the poem Don’t Complain by the poet Karim al-Iraqi, prepared and directed by Mr. Muhammad Makki.
His Excellency Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, said: Our Summer Art program in its fourth edition has contributed to developing the skills of its members, through their learning new artistic skills under the supervision of the academy’s teachers, who followed an educational method that keeps pace with the curricula of international academic artistic education, explaining This year's activities focused on building skills with creativity and enjoyment, in addition to organizing artistic activities that contributed to developing the skills of the participants and activating their artistic and creative aspects.
The Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi for the great support he provides to the Academy and its artistic programmes. Al Hafiti also thanked the entities supporting the Our Summer Art Program and the educational staff at the Academy in its Fujairah and Dibba Al Fujairah headquarters, praising their efforts in developing skills. Art for those affiliated with the Our Summer is Art program.
