FFAA participates in Chamber Music concert in NYD

Fujairah Fine Arts Academy participated in a concert held by the University of New York in Abu Dhabi with a group of musicians led by Ali Obeid Al Hefaity, the Director General of the Academy. The ceremony was a meeting between the university and the academy to discuss a probable future coordination between them, for the establishment of joint concerts and exchange of experiences.
Maestro Rony Rogoff, Artistic and Musical Director at New York University Abu Dhabi, received Ali Obaid Al Hefaity, Director General of the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy, and the accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Robert J.C. Young, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at New York University, welcomed the delegation and commended the Government of Fujairah for adopting all art lovers of all ages in various artistic and cultural fields.
Robert J.C. Young said that the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah, is the first of its kind in the UAE, which implement the constitution of the first academic institution to study Western and Arabic music, visual arts and ballet; that in order to provide a generation of educated artists in the UAE and the world to adopt talent and fill the need of artists and musicians in all fields.
The ceremony lasted for two hours and presented different colors of oriental and western music, and was very appreciated by the audience who encouraged the establishment of such events continuously.
