Fujairah fine Arts Academy honored at the COP 28 conference

The management of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28) honored the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy for its participation in an artwork in the form of a bivalve and a pearl that was displayed in Expo City Dubai.
The artwork was designed from recycled environmental waste, with the aim of raising awareness of the problems facing the environment. About 20 male and female students participated in the artwork, which is 4 meters long, 3 meters wide, and under the supervision of the teacher of the sculpture department at the academy, Ali Al-Khader, and under the supervision of His Excellency Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Academy.
His Excellency Ali Obaid Al Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, said: The Academy’s participation in the Cop 28 conference stems from the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, by highlighting environmental issues and preserving them through... Spreading climate awareness in accordance with the directives of the United Arab Emirates government, stressing that the contribution of the academy’s members comes within the framework of mobilizing the energies of youth and generations to confront the effects of global climate change.
