The Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts participated in the reception ceremony of the University of Sharjah, Kalba Branch, for its new students in their first academic year, in the presence of Dr. Ali Obaid Al Zaabi, the Financial and Administrative Deputy Assistant to the University President for Branch Affairs, and a number of officials and faculty members.

The opening ceremony included the participation of the Music Department at the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, where student Mayar Hussam performed a musical piece on the qanun instrument under the supervision of qanun teacher Omar Ziad, and oud student Abdul Rahman Issa presented an oriental musical piece on the oud instrument under the supervision of the oud teacher at the academy.
