The Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, the Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, the Fujairah Creative Center and the Fujairah Theater, organized a comedy theatrical show under the title “Hanfaroush,” written by the artist Hamid Fares, directed by the artist Mubarak Machi, and represented by an elite group of Emirati artists.
The show was held at the Fujairah Creative Theater during the days of Eid Al-Adha, in the presence of a large audience from the Emirate of Fujairah and the emirates of the country.
The idea of the theatrical performance included “Hanfaroush,” which was presented in a comedic context about the human world and the hidden world of the jinn, which we can hardly see and has nothing to do with the truth. His Excellency Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, said that the aim of the idea of ??the play “Hanfaroush” is to highlight the values of charitable work and shed light on impostor individuals who trade in people’s needs, in addition to adding a dose of horror to the theatrical work in order to attract the attention of the public. In a thoughtful comedic form, he stressed that most of those participating in the theatrical work were actors from the Emirate of Fujairah, and the work also provided the opportunity for many young and young artistic talents to participate in the play.
Al-Hafiti added that the Fujairah Arts Academy works in accordance with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Trustees, by stimulating and activating the theatrical movement in the emirate and supporting, refining and qualifying artistic talents in a high-level academic artistic form.
