The Fujairah Fine Arts Academy won first place in the competition for the most beautiful display platform for the arts and crafts sector, during the academy’s participation in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2022 in its (19) session.
The Academy participated in the exhibition with the works of its teachers and students, where the number of artworks reached more than 100, with the participation of about 90 artists from various visual arts.
His Excellency Ali Obaid Al Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, said: The Academy’s participation in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition comes within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, to make room for the Academy’s members to demonstrate their artistic production and consolidate their presence on the local artistic scene. And global.
Al-Hafiti added: Most of the paintings participating in the exhibition are derived from the heritage of the Emirates and the nature of the terrestrial and marine environments, and the vocabulary of this nature is derived from the mountains, the desert, and various animals and birds, which reflect the richness of the Emirati environment.
He explained that the exhibition represents a global arena starting from Abu Dhabi to view cultures and arts, which reflect the works of Emirati artists.
