Mother’s day celebration

FFAA celebrated this morning the international Mother’s day that falls on 21st of March of each year, in cooperation with the Emirates Autism Society, in the presence of Directors and Heads of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the Emirate of Fujairah. This is considered the first event within the Academy in Zayed year.

The ceremony started with an opening speech from the administration and Ali Obaid, the Director General of the Academy; through which thanks and gratitude were conveyed to HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Hamada Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler Of Emirate of Fujairah; for creating this great Edifice, hoping for it to be the highlight of the art and culture in the Emirate of Fujairah.

The Italian musician Aldo Dotto presented a musical composition on the piano, accompanied by the composer Ali Obeid with a musical piece composed by him titled: mother, as a gift from the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy for each mother on this good land. A song by Margarita Karbchuk followed it, Omeima El-Shnar and Elgin Yoo performed the violin, and the singer Dalila Balkhouchi presented a singing performance of Andalusian style. A workshop was also presented for the visual arts accompanied by the artist Nashwa Mahmoud and the calligraphy session with Mr. Mohamed Abu El Magd.

At the end of the ceremony, the attendees were honored and the mothers were welcomed for their presence.
