The Academy organized an educational trip to the Italian capital, Rome, and the city of Florence, with the participation of 10 female members of the Academy in the departments of painting and sculpture.
The educational trip aims to hone the skills of the academy’s members and give them the opportunity to interact with international artists and benefit from their experiences and expertise.
The visit program included a group of archaeological artistic sites, the most prominent of which was a visit to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Church, where the focus was on the works of the artist Michelangelo, and the paintings of the artists Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio and Bernini were also recognized.
During the visit, the academy’s members participated in many workshops in drawing and sculpture, the most prominent of which were workshops with the artist Gioia Reale, in addition to attending full-day sculpture workshops presented by Italian artists, in addition to workshops in mosaic, and two workshops in oil and watercolor painting on canvas.
