A dialogue session entitled “Theater Culture and Its Importance in Society” in the presence of artist Asaad Fadda, advisor to the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, and an audience of those interested in theater.

The dialogue session, which was held at the headquarters of Rashid Publishing House, was held as part of the Artist Station initiative of the Fujairah Arts Academy.

Ali Obaid Al-Hafiti, Director General of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, stressed the importance of the role of theater in monitoring social issues and presenting issues going on in society that touch upon the lofty human values that are in line with our authentic cultures and traditions, pointing out that the Academy will continue to work in cooperation with its strategic partners to launch artistic initiatives that enhance The spirit of community and humanitarian solidarity among all members of society.

The dialogue session moderated by artist Saeed Al-Harsh, entitled “Theatre Culture and its Importance in Society,” with the participation of artists Ahmed Al-Mazmi and Yasser Al-Gergawi, discussed the importance of theater in society and its role as a mirror that reflects reality and issues that are closely related to society.

Artists Al-Gergawi and Al-Mazmi stressed the importance of the role of the family and school in spreading theatrical awareness from childhood and developing it later in a way that reflects the benefit to the local community, pointing out the necessity of those in charge of government institutions working to recruit theatrical actors during preparation for any artistic works.

Artist Saeed Al Harsh spoke about the importance of consolidating the message of theater in the Emirates so that it becomes a real detail in the national culture in society.

In conclusion, the artist Asaad Fadda and Sheikha Al-Sharaa, the public relations officer at the Fujairah Arts Academy, honored the participants in the symposium by distributing certificates to them in appreciation of their efforts.
